The youngest contestant on weight loss reality show The Biggest Loser has taken home the title and the $200,000 prize money.

Sam Rouen, the 20 year old university student from the Sydney suburb of Campbelltown lost an amazing 71.7 kilograms; a total loss of 46.38 per cent of his original body weight.

As for what he is going to spend his cash on, Rouen is planning to hold onto it for a while; “I want to wait until I have the maturity to decide, but probably set myself up and use it for a (house) deposit,” he said.

Following closely behind with the $25,000 prize money was mum of three, Alison Braun, who lost 55.2 kilograms and 45.36 percent of her original weight. Former Olympian Kirsten Binnie lost 54.9 kilograms, 43.30 per cent of her original weight and took home the $10,000 prize.

Earlier in the show, previously eliminated contestants weighed in for a chance to win the runner up title and $30,000 prize money. Sean Holbrook won it by a long shot with a 79.8 kilogram loss; a 45.7 per cent loss of his original body weight.
