Hi all,

Firstly, apologies I haven't been providing the online racers with support. From what I have read over the past couple visits, you guys are inspirational. You have all done so well (I'm v jealous, lol). And The, CONGRATS, just wonderful news, really happy for you.

Secondly, I've been missing this wonderful community of ours bigtime. Hard to get perspective at times, and have even found it hard to check in with the forum, the same forum that has given me so much support earlier in the year, and yet I've avoided it, with maybe several lurks over the past couple months or so. No reflection on this forum at all, it's all been me, lol.

Thirdly, life is a real biatch at times, and I keep alternating between drowning, not waving & waving, not drowning, with the former being the more prevalent. The Black Dog is all consuming, but it hasn't been black all of the time, bursts of colour every now and then, but they fade too quickly.

Anyways, I should get to bed, have a 1pm shift, and I haven't been at work for the past 2 weeks, here's hoping I don't call in sick again today!!! Just thought I'd bite the bullet and post while the mood allows.

Really good to be back, have missed you all. Well, most of you, lol

Hey jca I've been exactly the same.

I've lurked a little now and then but only recently come back posting.

Life has been challenging and it's consumed most of my time.

There is one poster who knows who she is that has kept contact and helped me through some really tough times. Such a gorgeous gal.

None other than our beautiful isis love ya babe ((((hugs))) what would I do without your emails.

I too felt guilty not offering the support I should of on the online weight race & I too apoligise for that.

Life is all consuming isn't it? I'm glad you've been able to find comfort through Isis's emails.

I have so missed our chats, our posts, and the wonderful people behind them, and hopefully I will be back in the swing of it all sooner rather than later.

you are a sweetie. Please don't think that I felt a lack of support from you and your fellow racers - it's not that at all. My exile has been self imposed, a result of repeated behaviour that is very hard to break out of. It's always easier to hide away than ask for help, and I seem to apply that method to all aspects of my life, even when I know it doesn't work...

meanwhile, I have been so impressed with your dedication to the race!! The exercise alone completely shames me, lol.
