So You Think You Can Dance contestant Penny Higgs in topless photo storm

TOPLESS photos have emerged of So You Think You Can Dance favourite Penny Higgs.

Producers of the series were shocked to learn Zoo Weekly magazine was set to publish revealing snaps of the contestant, one of which shows Higgs on all fours with nothing but bikini bottoms on.

A spokesperson for the family-friendly show said producers had been unaware of the photographs until contacted by Confidential, but said they were taken 12 months ago.

"We would have been concerned if she'd done it without telling us but they're old shots," he said.

Higgs, a Melbourne jazz dancer, has described herself as an "angry cheerleader" on the show.

She and her dance partner, country boy Charlie Bartley, have been consistent favourites with viewers.
