From what I've seen the show is very uplifting mentally for the contestants and there has never been the likelihood of someone coming across as humiliated. That said any contestant would have to have a reasonably positive frame of mind to start with. I mean, if you were a serious introvert or has some psychological issues I seriously doubt you'd be trying out for the show in the first place.

I think it's sad that people actually have to go on a show to feel good about their bodies, why aren't they being made to feel like that in real life. I think confidence is mostly what makes you attractive anyway even if you are a little skinny or pudgey, it's how you feel about yourself. But I doubt I'll watch as I'm a little over these kinda shows, ie. extreme makeover etc.

I havn't seen it yet but it seems like on the previews it helps women. I think it is a great concept and hopefully it will help women all over the world.
