Default Doctor Eric Weichselbaum Lobbys Chile & Haiti disaster relief

Hello Everybody

Discussion about the earths temperature increase - or global warming are generally too scientific to participate in - but, an earthquake shaking an entire country into disaster cannot be another disregarded statistic. We're talking about people, just like you and me.

Please offer financial or volunteer assistance to Chile

Default Help dealing with dead pets?

Okay. My family and I have three cats.

One of my cats was killed in a hit and run this morning. We rescued him last summer, he was a stray. He was an adult when we found him, but he was skin and bones and without shelter, so we fed him and got him back up in his weight and let him stay with us.

And our other cat has been in the hospital for three weeks, and it is looking like we're going to have to put him down. We've had him since he was a kitten, six or seven years ago our first cat had kittens and we decided to keep one, which was him. So he's been around for a lot longer than the one who died today, so his death will be just a tiny bit harder for me. He's been around since my brother and sister were really young.

I'm pretty sure that I'll be fine, I've dealt with lots of dead animals. It's my younger sister I'm worried about.

My sister just turned thirteen, and she is a very sensitive person. She loves cats dearly, with all her heart and I don't think she's going to take this very well.

So what could help her cope?

I think we should get another kitten, but my mother doesn't want to get another animal, she doesn't want to deal with that one dying as well. She also says that our survivng cat, who is an older, female cat, wouldn't like it either. I think she's right, but she'll get over it. She's just cranky.

I understand why she doesn't want another, but I think that would be the only thing that would help my sister. What are some ways I could help convince my mother that getting a kitten would be the best choice if we end up having to put our cat down?

And please no flames or stupid comments. I'm not in the mood to deal with ignorance.

Default new sneakers anyone?

good afternoon everyone. I'm actually into shoes and I had been looking for that singular model. The prices due to the fact that the shoes were around 300 dollars on every site. But for all I bring about this area selling them for half price. I in reality like these gucci sneakers. I will absolutely order those. what do you think?
