To answer your question I'll requote the last addition to the forum rules:
All new registered users fall in the group of Trial Users. What that means is that your posts will be moderated for 4 days after registration. If in those 4 days your reputation goes up to 50 points or you have at least 5 approved posts you'll be automatically transferred to the Registered Users group.

A Trial user can only post in existing threads, to be able to start a new thread you have to be Registered user.

And in your case you've registered on 12/04/2006 at 1:02 which means you've been a registered user for more than 4 days. But as I mentioned above this on its own is not enough. Your reputation is 20(not the needed 50) and you have only 3 posts not 5. So in your case all you have to do is post 2 more posts, that'll be aproved by the mods, or get reputation of 50. I personally think getting the posts to 5 is much quicker than the reputation option.

Hope that answers your question.

Looks like the moderators and this site in general were taking a bashing yesterday on this thread. While this site is not perfect (I don't think anyone has ever claimed it is!) I think it is really fantastic. I am so glad that I have had a place to rant and rave about my least favourite contestants, try and convince others to see the lovely side of Kristie (he he ), and general predict and wonder what will happen next on my favourite TV show.

Thank you to the moderators/administrators for trying their best to make this site the best it can be. We have been told many times before that they do this as a bit of fun, it certainly isn't their full time job!

Thank you for letting me join the forums and get involved in your 'pet project'. I have really enjoyed posting and reading!

(This post probably sounds all sucky, but I'm just getting all emotional about TBL ending soon, and this forum probably doing the same! )

I think what the moderators/administrators are trying to achieve is a positive thing. We all have enough stressors in our lives without having to come online and put up with verbal nastiness. Opinions can be expressed without being vulgar or insulting to anothers point of view. It seems that people forget how lucky they are to be even be allowed opportunities to express these thoughts by believing it is their right to crush anothers views. Am I wrong or is forum meant to be a support network for those who are being brilliant and changing their lives for the better? I shudder to think that certain people are getting upset because they have to show consideration to others.

Oh this is ridiculous! This link takes you page 1 of a thread, but you need to go to the end of page 2 - to find another link that will bring you back to page 1 of this thread again!

You just go around in circles going nowhere!

The reason the link takes you back to page 1 of the thread dmg is that the forum rules are on page 1, lol.

Here are the forum rules, taken from page 1. Does that make it easier?

We honestly didn't want to be enforcers. However due to one or two users denigrating the show's contestants and other forum users at every opportunity, we've basically been left with no choice.

So please, play nice ... or don't play at all.

Rule 1: If you do post anything crass or obscene on the forums, you're probably going to be banned immediately, unless it's incredibly funny. Use of excessive swear words is NOT funny, it's boring. A "ban" means you won't be able to make any further comments on these boards. Ever.

Rule 2: Show some respect. If all you want to do is run people down, then maybe this isn't your kind of forum. Don't get personal - stay on topic.

Rule 3: Please keep foul language to an absolute minimum.

Rule 4: Smut is dull. And it will now get you banned.

Rule 5: Our moderators will delete/edit content or ban users at our discretion
Now you know...

New additions to the rules:

All new members will be moderated for a few days after their registration. That means that all posts have to be approved by the forum moderators before they appear on the forum. This is to prevent spam.

Rule 6: Personal attacks on contestants (and/or their families) are not acceptable. Threats and intimidation are also unacceptable.

Additions to the rules:

Rule 7. Blatant spam / advertising will result in you being permanently banned from making further posts. Please do not use this site for promoting your products and services. This is a community site not a bus stop.

Also, putting down our site and/or using this site to promote alternative forums is not very friendly. Please don't do it. (Sharing articles, links to other cool sites, pictures, videos and showing people your MySpace page etc is totally fine - in fact, we encourage it!).

Rule 8. People who consistently cause disharmony risk being banned. We are all friends here so keep it positive. However, healthy debate is encouraged! Go for it!

Rule 9. Mods are encouraged to maintain the highest standards of behaviour in their dealings with users and other mods. You are not ordinary users so set the example. If things get out of hand take it to a private message and resolve your differences there and with respect. Mods are encouraged not to play favourites and to avoid bias of any kind. If in doubt get advice from an Admin or another mod.

Rule 10. Not exactly a rule, more a request. Take responsibility for who you are here - you are not anonymous. You can make this a fun place to hang out with all your friends or you can create a hell for yourself and others by upsetting people. The choice is yours. Think FIRST, post second.

Additions to the rules:

Rule 11. If users or mods are found to have been hacking into the backend to read people's private messages they will be swiftly dealt with. This is not only a technically challenging activity but, in most circumstances, a bannable offence. Please be reassured that your private messages are CONFIDENTIAL and Unofficial respects your privacy.
