Testing...?

Just testing this out. I was trying to post a reply on the joke thread and kept getting this error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forums//forums/newreply.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

and I have no idea what it means. So I'm testing this out. Hope no one minds...

haven't heard any updates about this, I'm assuming the issue has corrected itself, is anyone else having these issues now?

I've heard about this strange beast called a 404 error.

Is there a reason or is it a random gremlin?

Yeah, the 404 beast pops up from time to time when it cannot find the page it is looking for, at times it is because of bugs in the software when it tried to do something it should not have, if the page actually does not exist/ the link is incorrect or sometimes even randomly...its a very tricky beast to capture and some might even say impossible to do so

I got that error at work today, hmmmmmmmm seems that the 404 beast travels extensively too.

Ammo and I kinda figured out what it was, because after her problem I had it again, trying to post another joke in the joke thread. It seemed that it didn't like us typing a particular word. In her case, it was the "Swiss" in Swissball. With mine it was "attorney" (well, that's understandable, as attorneys are swine LOL) so once the word was removed the post was allowed. Funny thing is, typing those words in other posts works! Very strange and one of the mysteries of t'Internet, methinks.
