That's debateable. If they change you enough to fit the image of what's beautiful you actually lose what makes you unique in the first place. I think the fact that she talked about being proud of her size 12 body and then let them morph her into just another centrefold (size 8?) is quite sad really. But of course thats just my opinion and I realise you guys have been socialised into being attracted to the same type of women anyway. I think it's funny men say oh yeah I liked back in the 50's when women where curvy but the fact is you like curvy as long as it's a size 8 curvy.

I have to disagree. I don't think Daniela looks too far removed from reality in the Zoo photos. She's still got a thick mid section and the curvaceous shape that she's famous for. Sure she's had help in the way of the airbrusher but they could've gone a whole lot further and made her unrecognisable. She's nowhere near a size 0 (AU 6) or Eva Longoria's sizing here either. Being that size myself I can tell our body shapes are nothing alike. I'd say she's been altered to represent a size 10 whereas in reality she's probably closer to a size 12-14. With or without the airbrushing she's absolutely beautiful and anyone who's watched Big Brother this series should be well aware that she's not so picture perfect. But hey, who is?

Hey I think she's beautiful too, never said she wasn't. But then I just think the whole industry airbrushes too much and instead of letting us decide whats beautiful they do it for us and erase what's there idea of imperfection.

Hey why not start airbrushing our kids photos too. I mean if little Jamie has a wonkie nose or little jess' hair is a little sticky outey why not just computer enhance them too or wait we'll just genetically wean those flaws out. Hey why not just design camera's that correct the flaw in the first place ...... oh that's right we do have them now don't we. LOL I just think we are getting more and more absurd as we evolve, pretty soon nothing is gonna be reaaal. Don't get me started on fake t*i*t*s.

I think she looks great personally. I don't know why everybody is getting so hung up on whether she's airbrushed or not.

It's not everyone that's getting hung up it's me. It's not really about Daniela. My whinge is about the obsession people have with looking a certain way and not realising beauty comes in many different forms. Just once I would like to see someone natural that is smiling and happy in those photos instead of trying to have the sexiest dropdead look, maybe someone with short hair instead of long. To me it's just same old same old. It's the same in frickin miss world pageants they all just look the same.

Fortunately for you all, my issue surrounding the airbrushing involves several other whinges as well! According to Daniella, and according to the article posted, Daniella is a spokesperson for an unnamed eating disorder charity. When asked whether or not she felt this types of magazines caused women to have unrealistic body images and ideals, she went on with some manner of garbage regarding not having to be "political" anymore because she's no longer "in the house." To begin with, I see no reason why she would have to be political in the house, so that particular argument puzzles me; to continue, I don't understand how it is, if she truly is the spokesperson for this unnamed eating disorder charity, she justified this to herself and them in the first place?

The facts on this matter truly speak for themselves. These types of lads mags do have an incredible amount to do with women developing the body image and ideals that lend themselves so readily to the development of eating disorders. Regardless of whether or not she's "in the house", as someone who claims to have conquered an eating disorder herself, going on to become a spokesperson for this "unnamed" eating disorder charity, appearing in one of these types of mags is incredibly strange given the obvious repercussions from said charity. It's unheard of for a female, or for that matter, male, representing a charity dedicated to aiding those with eating disorders, to suddenly decide to strip and appear in a magazine that perpetuates the precise images these manner of charities seek to stamp out.

Moreover, it is bizzare for a woman who, herself, suffered at the hands of these ideals to then so easily become a part of their very distribution!

Daniella is clearly as straight a shooter, and as honest a lass now as she was in the house.

That is all.
