Default Matt was robbed!

My boys & I were very disappointed when Matt lost on Sunday night. I thought he was by far the best throughout the entire series this year and should have won hands down. I entirely agree with Matt in regards to his comments about Mark Holden & believe he DID cost him the crown - get rid of him! Perhaps this show needs a revamp of all the judges, they're the ones that pick the top 12 but this year's lot (apart from maybe 4) were woeful, especially Marty (sorry no offence but he really can't sing) however the judges chose them - at least they got Matt right. Anyway Matt don't worry too much cause when (not if) you release your first album I guarantee you will blitz them all - don't forget that it's usually the runner up that becomes more successfull than the winner. I hope a record deal gets offered to Matt & Carl because everyone I know (kids, teens & adults) adored them both & their records will definately sell & be big hits.
Good luck Matt, we know you'll be a success.
From your fellow Shire fans.

I wouldn't worry too much about Matt. I think he was actually relieved that Natalie won. He looked distinctly uncomfortable about the single he sang - despite his denials about what appeared in the papers about him not liking it. There is no doubt he will get a record deal out of this and he will be able to put his own songs on it and choose all the material. It won't be one of those ready made albums like Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan put out in the late 80's! The only thing you could say he missed out on was the trophy and a bit of cash. I think he will more than make up for that by being very successful.

I agree from what I've heard and assumed Matt is happy he didn't win. He wants to be able to follow his own music direction. He's not into pop songs etc. and felt that is where they wanted to lead him and he didn't want that. After hearing him on the radio I think he's more than happy with the results.
