Rove McManus (birth name John McManus) was born in Perth, Western Australia in 1974 and has since become one of Australia’s favourite TV personalities. Shooting to fame with his talk show Rove Live in 2000, McManus has won several Logies including three Gold Logies.

In 2000 McManus started his own production company, Roving Enterprises, which has produced popular programs including Skithouse and the ARIA Music Awards. McManus cut his 2006 season of Rove Live short after his wife, Australian actress Belinda Emmett, died of cancer. There was speculation he would not return to TV, but in 2007 McManus was back with a new Sunday night time slot and had renamed the show Rove.
