Born in Melbourne, Australia on 20 October 1971, Danielle “Dannii” Minogue is an Australian singer/actress and sister to Kylie Minogue. Minogue began her career in 1978 with a role on Australian soap opera Skyways, followed by an almost six year stint as a performer on Young Talent Time. Minogue left Young Talent Time in 1988 and continued her acting career on TV shows All The Way and Home and Away before releasing her first album, Dannii in 1990 which included the hit single Love and Kisses.

The albums Get Into You (1993) and Girl (1997) are amongst Minogue’s hits, as well as Neon Nights (2003), which includes the singles Who do you Love Now, Put the Needle on it and I Begin to Wonder. Minogue has also featured in an Australian edition of Playboy following her divorce to Julian McMahon in 1995 and has been a judge on talent shows Australia’s Got Talent and the British version of The X-Factor in 2007.
