Things are getting serious between Paris Hilton and Benji Madden. Having been dating for more than ten minutes, the couple has assured the world that their "relationship" is not a prank as speculated by the media.

Reports that the hook up is a hoax put on for Ashton Kutcher’s new TV show, Pop Fiction, have surfaced, which both parties have strongly denied. The show, intended to be the opposite of Punk’d, involves celebrities fooling the media.

“We’re really happy”, Paris claimed on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. As if this wasn’t proof enough, the pair have been spotted wearing matching rings bearing the other’s initials. How sweet.

The heiress plans to join Benji when his band Good Charlotte begins touring next week.
