Marriage on the cards for Beyoncé and Jay-Z

Singer Beyoncé Knowles and long term rapper/producer boyfriend Jay-Z are finally set to tie the knot. It was reported that the super couple applied for a marriage licence in Scarsdale, New York on Tuesday, 1 April.

The pair have been dating since 2002 – by Hollywood standards this is practically unheard of!

Update: Rumour has it the happy couple tied the knot on Friday, 4 April 2008, but this is yet to be confirmed by either of the stars.
